WBDC Fall Fempreneur Boot Camp sponsored by the Women’s Business Development Center’s (WBDC) Veteran Business Assistance Services and the National Women Veteran United is open and free to female veterans and female spouses of military veterans.
During the Fempreneur 5-week Boot Camp Series, subject matter experts in the area of business development, commercial insurance, legal, and finance will help attendees become more developed in the following areas:

Dr. Makeba Butler
Boot Camp Facilitator
Dr. Makeba Butler is an Air Force veteran and the Associate Director, Veteran Programs & PTAC with the Women’s Business Development Center. In this role, she works with veterans, active military, reserve, guard, and military spouses in providing them education, information, and resources to operate as a successful business owner. As the Associate Director, she leads the Veteran Business Services Center, where she provides counseling and training to new and established Veteran owned business as well as work with start-up and emerging business owners in positioning themselves for certification and government contracting opportunities. In addition, Dr. Makeba also provides support to Veteran Business Outreach Centers in other regions as needed.
